The Airport's runway is 3,500 m long and runs in a North-East / South Westerly direction. It has two Taxiways and an apron designed to accommodate one medium jet, two short haul jets and four general aviation aircraft.

The airport is designed for medium haul aircraft like the Airbus 310 and Boeing 767.

The Airport handles both International as well as domestic flights. The terminal building has a V. I. P lounge, a cafeteria, a medical centre, a forex Bureau, a souvenir shop, car-hire and Airline offices.

The Airport is equipped with the latest aviation facilities and it's Air Traffic Control and Radar systems are fully computerised.

Fueling at the Airport is via fuel bowsers.

The Airport is well equipped with rescue and fire fighting vehicles as well as an ambulance.

The Airport car park has a capacity of 200 vehicles.
